We get asked frequently what we think of Sonnet. As a website we like it. Contemporary, clean, user focused interface. Compelling copy that’s casual, approachable and easy to understand. We think the overall experience is very well done. What we like the most is the evidence of actual innovation and time spent thinking through the insurance purchase cycle from a customer’s perspective.
Frankly, we’d encourage Brokers who are building or looking to improve their digital footprint to do the same thing. Remember imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. We think Sonnet has certainly raised the bar, however, we don’t think they have a lock on consumer-focused digital experiences that allow self-directed customer to buy insurance online. There is no reason why Brokers can’t serve clients who want to research, shop and buy insurance online. In fact we believe they should be better at it then any single Insurer offering direct sales.
